Professor Brian Cox, Alex Day and Sex

I have no idea what I want to write, I am at that stage where I've got quite a few ideas, but I don't think that any of them are good enough.

I could very easily post a rant about I hate bias right wing media, but I am sure that there are many other bloggers and writers who have done it better then I could ever hope to do. I really want to do a series of posts about the planets in our solar system, but Professor Brian Cox has done it so much better then I have. (I'm pretty sure he is a time lord, no human could be that intelligent.) I'd love to write about my favorite books, but I'm worried that I'd end up not doing the books any justice and alienating the authors.

That's my problem, I'm always worried about what other people are saying about me and the stuff that I do. I know I shouldn't worry but I think its something that all humans do, the exception to that rule is Alex Day (a.k.a Nerimon) who really doesn't seem to care what you think, he just does what he wants to do, and tells the internet about that time his mother heard him having sex and then complemented him on his stamina the next morning, I wish I could be a bit more open.

So I've made a decision, I no longer care what you think, I am going to be more like myself because I'm pretty sure that life becomes that little bit more fun when I start doing this.

  1. First off, welcome! It seems you are a newbie; you started your blog a little while ago. Second, I understand what you mean. However, you can't please them all, you really have to try and forget what other people think about you. This is something even I try to remind myself: It doesn't matter what other people think, because some of them will always try to put you under their level of confidence and self-worth. If you have an opinion, then you write it without the intention of offending. It's okay to be sensible, that's part of who you are. If you want to know a little secret, I'm sensible too. But, I've had to learn (the hard way) that you need to develop a thick skin to criticism. Granted, it ain't easy, but it can be done.

This is a good post. Good work.

    1. Hi Sapphire, Thank you for your comment, I have no idea how to reply to this.

As I said in the post I have let people get to me in the past and it does get hard for me to forget sometimes. In 2009 I had a YouTube that had around 4000 total views, which I so pleased with, but I felt like I had attracted every troll in England. I have since deleted said YouTube channel, I just wonder what would have happened if I kept uploading to that channel.

I had a look around your blog (is that the right phrase?) and I think that it is fantastic, it made laugh so much: You are right Google+ is wondrous ghost town (I'm so glad that I discovered it,) twitter has taken my soul and I was very tempted to write all about sex (I did sneak it in to the title, oh my.)

Once again, thank you so much for taking the time out to read and comment on my post.

    2. I'm so sorry I'm responding now, but hey, better late than never!

Oh, shit happens. Trolls are envious rats who really have nothing to contribute to our productivity. Jeez, that's sucks! I used to have a YT account as well, but it has changed so much I've just stopped using it. :/

Ooh, thanks for the compliments! There's more to come soon! ;)

Aww, it's no biggie, just keep up the good work. :)
